Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about FlipSnatch.

What is FlipSnatch?

FlipSnatch is a desktop app that searches Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and OfferUp all at once, so you can find deals and resell opportunities without switching between tabs.

How much does FlipSnatch cost?

FlipSnatch is free during beta. After beta, your first month is just $0.99, then it's $9.99/month.

How do alerts work?

Set up a search once with your keywords, price range, and location. FlipSnatch monitors all connected marketplaces in real time and notifies you the moment a matching listing is posted.

What platforms is FlipSnatch available on?

FlipSnatch is a desktop app available for Windows, macOS, and Linux (Ubuntu/Debian-based distributions).

Why does FlipSnatch ask me to use the --no-sandbox flag on Ubuntu?

Starting with Ubuntu 23.10 and continuing in 24.04 and later, Ubuntu restricts a Linux feature (unprivileged user namespaces) that Chromium-based apps like FlipSnatch normally use for sandboxing. This is a system-wide Ubuntu security change that affects most Electron apps, not just FlipSnatch. Launching with the --no-sandbox flag works around it and does not affect your data or account security within the app. If you're not comfortable with the flag, you can also run the app from a terminal or edit its desktop launcher to include it permanently.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from within the app under account settings, or by contacting us directly. There are no cancellation fees, and you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Is my data safe with FlipSnatch?

Yes. FlipSnatch only uses your search criteria to query public marketplace listings — see our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it is used.

I have a question that isn't answered here. How do I get help?
